The Kimmane Golf Resort is Shivamogga’s first foray into the business of golf and leisure sporting. Fashioned along the lines of fun short courses in luxury golfing resorts of the world, Kimmane Golf Terrain that adjoins the Kimmane Golf Resort, is a 9-hole, 3236-yard course, par 35 layout. The golf course is as much charm as challenge. Golfing has always been perceived as a means to connect people and bring families together. To this end, the Kimmane Golf Resort welcomes new golfers and seasoned players alike, not limiting the pleasure or skill of either. The real significance of the golf resort though is its imprint on the ecology.

Words really can’t describe this beautiful restaurant with panoramic views, a combination of great spirits and a menu inspired by our chefs. The menu features the distinct flavours of Southern India and as well as a great selection of Pan-Asian cuisine. Everything on the menu is good and crafted by one of the best chefs in the area. There’s also great views of the sunset from The Mayucca with the Western Ghats Hills providing the backdrop. The Mayucca also offers an outdoor bar and dining right at the club. For a resort style Golf restaurant, Mayucca is exceptional.
Once you’re done hitting the greens, once you’ve sunk your final putt, once you’ve shook hands with your partners and returned your golf cart to the club house, it’s time to shower up and grab a well-earned pint. Now, we don’t base our entire decision of where to play on how good the TEE Bar is, but this laid-back bar at Kimmane Golf Club is well worth a visit after hitting the greens. This is a lovely little spot, particularly as the sun goes down and you’re filled with the sort of triumphant feeling that only a day spent in the sun can guarantee. It’s one of the more eco- friendly spots around with spectacular views of the greens, and there’s good food and drinks.
